I've been working on this map off and on for awhile now and wanted some more feedback. (This map was once called XXXdefence for no real reason so I changed it to up and down Defence).

So please leave me some feedback, and report any bugs you might find?

ADDITION:
Too bad no one likes defence maps sad.gif

Know Bugs:

(Fixed)-Trap's not properly stacked
(Fixed)-Starter was not removed. (Starter was meant for testing)


Please post all that are found.

i dont feel like dling and playing the map right now... can u post some screenshots and some details about the map.

And i had to say this... good thing u changed the name if u left it as XXXdefence people woulda thought it was a porn defence like Dirty Tank Defenders

The map starts with everyone choosing what level of difficulty they would like. Once everyone has chosen, a 2 minute countdown begins. During that time you can build and mine. Once the countdown is at 0 the map begins. Each player has an "X" to build on.
Here is that "X" with labels (Sorry thats hard to make out)
Blue=Water Green=Build Zone Light Green=Hero zone Purple=Enemy Path Black=Enemy flow

Once and enemy unit reaches the top right hand corner another enemy unit is spawned in the bottom right hand corner. The enemy unit is determined by what level it is. There are 5 phases of these secondary enemy units. They change every 3 levels up to level 15, with a total of 20 levels. Once level 15 is reached your hp (difficulty setting) is set to max, so all enemy units spawn with full hit points. If 10 of the phases type units reach the end then you lose (you have ten lives).
You also can buy Heros', and Special options. In addition you will recieve 1 dollar every 100 kills, with these dollars you can buy Traps, mineral, and extra drones.

That is about the just of the map.

This is a pretty god map, I like it alot, Good job on it... But I see some minor bugs, But it doesnt matter because is doesn't effect gameplay.

Yea its nice. I like The terrain and the outline of it all. It could have potential to be popluar tongue.gif. Also, its not done? Because they mins don't go. Or how does it work?

What do you mean about the minerals? The miners mine from a distance, instead of have them move. (Only 1 miner can mine each mineral chunk, they dont sort out they just sit there if you have them all on the same mineral. I'll take some screenshots soon.

is it a defence where u build units? or buy units with money(civilians, minerals, etc)? or one where u build bunkers?

O OK i see what you mean by a distance. I didn't notice the minerals at the far end. What is the point of that? lol it seems a little far. But i guess you get free mins so there must be a catch. Also I looked at that map and it seems pritty good. Good luck with it man.

Well, there's a trigger which moves the drones to a location which they cant be moved to so they mine from anywhere as long as theres a path to the minerals.

The map is almost done, just tweeking it.
