Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> Trigger and Editor problem
Report, edit, etc...Posted by JSonicC on 2005-06-09 at 16:59:38
Ok. My first problem is simply with starcraft editors. I have searched lots for a tool i cannot find, i simply want to be able to create 1x1 squares of anything. as used in maps like tarpitD and Poker D.

Second is with a map i am making, i cannont find a way to create a trigger to add 1 gas and 1 mineral for each kill made.

I had this trigger

All Players

CONDITIONS:
Curent player kills exactly 1 any unit

ACTIONS:
Modify score add 1 custom
Modify score add 1 mineral
Modify score add 1 gas
Preserve

I realised this would constantly add minerals gas and custom until player killed another unit. So it only counted if the player had exactly 1 kill.

A way to fix this trigger would be if you could reset the kills after each kill. but i havent figured out how.

any help would be great.

cheers

For your Trigger problem you canr efer to this Tutorial:

For your Editor, just go into the SEN Downloads Database and Download SCMDraft and/or Starforge.

I dont think this will work because all players are human. so there is no computer player.

DOWNLOAD STARFORGE I RECOMMEND IT

you can place the 1x1 sqares and you cna have 8 players and the 3 computers so if you do it right you can get player 9 10 11 12 to be able to act like computers....but 12 you should not becuase its the minerals...owner dude..

As long as your not playing melee minerals can be owned by any player. And even so you could still use player 12 for that. The better reason for not using player 12 is so you can detect when a player leaves the game and remove his excess stuff.

That does not work. Players 9 to 12 do not attack other players, as I tested them myself.

Use the killcounter here: http://www.staredit.net/index.php?tutorial=81

The first one will work, since the TYPE of unit you are killing does not matter.

Yes you should remove the link because you are not supposed to provide links that have websites with hacks.
