Hmm this is a tuffy Q for me j/k. what school means to me is its a place to learn stuff.
School is The most interesting place in the world.
School is where I meet the hoes, or should I say, where the hoes meet me.
......Can't a man just dream?

School is a place were I am forced to go, yet it isnt that bad because it is a very social place.
A place to meet friends (possibly enemies) and hopefully learn something along the way.
School is a place where you are forced to go to. Hate it all you want, resist it all you want, but it helps you not to screw up your life later on.

It means a place on where young people ineract, learn and create...
School is a place that is like a double edged sword. On one edge you have fun, meet people, play in friday night football games in front of crowds around 1,000 students/parents and you can pimp some hoes. On the other edge if you fail school, it will be really hard to get into college, you get tests, homework every single night, and general unwanted work.
Where one learns essential knowledge, and later on, more specific complex knowledge that will aid them in the career of their choice. If you don't like school, drop out.
Proctored Nap-Place.
In all seriousness, school is the place psuedo-intellects have been developed. My only drive to go to school is to learn something and apply it to the Great American Novel I plan on publishing before I die.
Someone's a little ungrateful... your parents shell out tax dollars so you can learn and get a halfway decent life starting, and all you've got to say is that.
This is an interesting topic, because it tells me a lot about some of you.
School is a place I have been forced to go. But to me, school is a social place to make friends, and its also a place for me to get a chance to catch up on all the nap-time I missed.
Nobody's forcing you to go. It's just, if you don't go you'll be disowned. The sooner you realize how lucky you are to go to school the sooner you'll simply hate teachers who don't know what they're doing. Or pointless mandatory classes (Civics and Careers come to mind), that would be better spend on an English credit.
A place where the goverment makes kids learn and accept their ideology and standards.
Technically, you are FORCED to go to school untill you are of the age of 16, then you can legally drop out without breaking the law. But school is important for everyone. Even though you may hate it, you need it. Without it, where would you be now? No where. You wouldn't even have the knowledge to come on here and comprehend what people say.
I agree with S.T.A.R.S-Chris, it really is a double-edged sword. It is a place of complete hell, and a place where you learn everything you need to know to have a decent life.
To me, school is important (didn't think it when I was a freshman or sophmore) and I want to graduate, cause I have already had my graduation held back because of a gay ass corrupt cop in my town. And when I do graduate, i'm going to work for my father for 2 months, then head to college. Everyone needs to go to school after high school. May it be a tech school, a college, or a university, everyone needs to go so they can live a decent life (Cause a high school diploma doesn't get you shit)
They could go for an apprenticeship. No class room.
You could run away, get expelled etc.
Seriously? School is pretty nice, of course its boring like hell sometimes, but you get to stick with friends and not listen to the asshole in front. Its good. Somedays, when its like, a holiday and we don't have school, I have nothing to do so I wish I was in school o_o weird shit I said there huh?
I've talked to some other people online and they were saying that they sometimes liked school because their teachers were hot.
I go to a nerd school. All of our teachers are old grannies

I hate school.
I only do this for my "Decent Life"
I only do it for alot of horny girls and continual boring work.
School has 2 meanings. It can mean where one goes to study and learn in order to be successful in life and the other means to talk, have fun, and interact with friends.
thats true, but i still hate the asshole teachers
