Does Anyone Know How To Give A Unit Owned By Player 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,or 8 to Player 9?
Such as a FLOOR TRAP after a certain period of time..?
You can not give player 9-255 any units using triggers (for the exception of p12, if you make, for example, player 3 quit the game). You can not "give" a floor trap to player 1-8 using triggers.
But.... Do you want to know how to give a unit, such as a marine owned by player 1 to player 3?
I would assume he does. If he doesn't, use the GIVE UNITS action. And what SA_Max said is right, you can't give units to players 9+, nor affect their alliance statuses.
What about pre-placed. Like... Changing it in the menu.
But I couldnt say, my editor differs from all of yours.
WEll, if you want the triggers here it is
Trigger
---------------
ALWAYS<optional
Elapsed time is X(seconds/miliseconds)
(next)
Give (quantity) FLOOR TRAP to Player1-14(SF) at Location Y
--------------
btw, you CAN give floor traps, missile traps and those auto gun trap thingies to players. Have you guys ever played Floor trap defense?

Yes but he wants the floor traps owned by p1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 to be given to p9. And he knows what the trigger is just wants to know how a floor trap can be give to p9 which I don't think can be done.
I Already know how to give units to players 1-8 but i need to give a FLOOR TRAP to player 9 But Will It Work If I Gave it to P12 instead?
You can't give it to P12 either.
Like I said, you can't give units to Players 9+

Uhh? all units? why not?
I'm 95% sure you can give units to players 1-12 using triggers. You just may need to use SF or something to make the triggers.
Bolt is right, i just did it just then =\
It seems to be ungiven because the colour of the unit doesn't change in main screen view.
You just can't create it.
Oops, my bad. It's create, not give. SA screwed me up since you get mess with P 9-12 alliance satuses either.
You can give units to and from players 9-12.
You can change players' 1-8 alliance stances towards players 9-12.
You can't change players' 9-12 alliance statuses, except that p12 units retain their old alliance statuses when given from another player.
You can't give units to or from players 13+.
Biskit can you give me the trigger so i can give a unit owned by player 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 or 8 to player 9?
Just use the normal give trigger to give the units to player 9. Seeing as that is the only way to give units to another person. Excluding the rescuable units.

2 words: 2 words: 2 words: 2 words: 2 words:... thats godly...
I tested it.
You can give units from any player 1-12 to any player 1-12. You cannot give units to or from players other than players 1-12.
I tried every possible combination of giving units from players 1-12 to players 1-12 with this map:[attachmentid=10398]. Simply play for ten seconds and observe.
I made the map in StarForge.
When units are given to players 9, 10, 11, or 12, they retain their original colour. They will however show up with p9-12 colours on the minimap.
When units are given to or from extended players, they aren't given at all.
If you give a unit to players 9-12, I think it retains its diplomacy status. This certainly is the case with p12; I think it is also for players 9-11.
So if you give a unit to players 9-12, it'll look and act like nothing happened at all!
Except that it will change color on the minimap and stop recieving orders from humans.Biskit this is a floor trap it doesnt need orders from humans it attacks on its own...
ADDITION:
wewt i got a pink folder1!!!
