ihatett don't be so negative about you own maps, they seem good to me:)
It looks ok, nothing spectacular though. It reminds me too much of estralla, you could at least have done it in an other tileset.

I like this, however, i have an idea. I think that you might want to take away the expos on the corner. That way we would get more of a mainland battle going on, making much better gameplay. I still think that there is plenty of expo's on the "mainland" area for that to work.
