Okay, the map in question is one that I did spend quite a bit of time on. It has some fairly innovative systems, such as the Universal Timer and the ability to customize your spaceship with different upgrades.

The problem is that while I enjoy playing the map, nobody else does! I've been trying to figure out how to improve the map without ruining the distinctive "flavor" or deviating too much from the game that this is based on, but since I don't have whatever problem with it everyone else does, I've been coming up empty.

I have had this problem with other maps in the past, and it's frustrating, since it tends to afflict maps that I spend a lot of time on most often.

Please comment.

Well, here at SEN. Most of us know that average B.Net player has the intelligence of an 8 year old. They also have about us much patience as one too.

As for your map, it depends on the audience you are trying to reach out to. If you would like to make B.Net players happy, make it easy, stupid, and very repetitive. If you are trying to make SENers happy. Show off what you know, add cool effects with triggers, innovative terrain, in depth stroyline. A map that makes SENers want to play it. It is hard to come up with a map like that, but, one way to make people happy is to just do it.
One thing you can do is take a look at this.

Hope I helped at all... ermm.gif

Just keep playing to you find other people that like it.

you could also add some effects and clever tricks to make it more apealing to all.

Sad thing, that statement is very, very true.
