Ok i just heard like on the news that a four year old kid died when riding in an EPCOT ride (called Mission: space). Full story here.
Man, who could've imagined Disney World as a Child Killer

Accidents happen, this isn't new.

That is kind of sad for the 4 year old boy...
Well you can't call Disney World a child killer. Accidents happen, he should have know about the seriousness of the ride since other riders have barfed and have had chest pains

Parents these days are sucking at raising their kids (not mine, I've got damn fine parents). Maybe I should make a topic about that =D

I don't like going on those riders either. What kind of parents let a 4 year-old kid go on a ride like that? I mean, let them go ride the dragon roller-coaster.

it says he reached the height but was it really safe for a 4 year old being in a semi adult ride when the signs says for warning like. chest pains, may have nausa, heart problems and etc.
really who is stupid enough to put a little kid in a big ride like that

If people in the world don't do crazy/dumb stuff then there would be a lot less accidents in this world. I guess the human brain must occasionaly do dumb things.

What the s the point of even putting the child on the ride? Would the kid have even remembered it in 10 years? Abolsutely NOT. My god...

The point is how the child reacts then, Of course no ones going to remember it in 10 years, But atleast they thought of the child.

Lol thought of the child, thats funny
Plus the kid is FOUR, probably won't understand what the hell is going on, an older kid even like 6+ would get more out of it.
AND the mother noticed the kid was tense before the ride started, and she thought the kid was SCARED, why let him on the ride if he's scared?

I think she found an alternative to abortion with kids.

Well, there goes one accident to ruin it for the rest of us. I hope nobody was planning on visiting Disneyworld.

Yea, I hate how a bunch of ignorant people lacking common sense can screw up some good fun.

Did it say he was acting that way before the ride? I don't think so... >_>

Oh, my bad, would there have been a way to stop the ride if it was going on? Like an emergency stop button?

It's like playing Red Rover and a little kid wants to play. (It's the only fun think u can do) He insists he wants to play, but all the big kids say "it's too dangerous"... but he plays anyway... he ends up injuring himself, and nobody gets to play... OMFG!! LOOK WHAT YOUR FREAKING SELFISHNESS HAS BROUGHT US NOW! I'VE NEVER LIKED KIDS!!! RAAAGH!... (takes pills)

haha, my mom says that all of the time. I mean, really, i really hate it when those dumb ladies bring their BABIES to Disney.
-They wont remember a thing -Money Wasted -SHUT THAT ANNOYING THING UP
Hey, raise the height limit, because it obviously needs it.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by MapUnprotector on 2005-06-15 at 18:46:00
I heard that the height requirement is really just a way to make sure people of a certain weight can get on, like on rollercoasters and stuff they say that if you are a certain height you must be a certain weight.

Crazy kids and not listening to their parents...
Ok actually, crazy Walt Disney, make safer rides! First come back to life... Or will your current slaves to do so.
