Seems there's a surplus of dipshits being brought up, and I think the parents are to blame. Parents who don't teach their kids basic morals of life (because really, you can't monitor them all the time). I think if a kid is an immoral scumbag by the time he reaches highschool, it's too late and you've pretty much failed. A good parent should teach their kid early how to figure out what's right, and what's wrong (not just what's right and what's wrong).

What do you think?

I agree with that. But what are some examples of dipshit kids and what they do, and what parents do wrong?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Mp)MinigameEast on 2005-06-14 at 23:10:25
my opinion if your going to have a kid and you know your a good parent then teach that kid everything that is nice and smart.
if your a person that doesn't want a kid, then abortion it or where a freakin condom.

ill explain better later if people post better opinions.

Al Capone and his dad was a good example. His dad knew how to raise a kid! But more seriously, parents sometimes need to learn to be more strict with their kids. I know some of my friends who tell off their parents and don't listen to them. I could never think of doing that to my parents. -_-

Damn I feel bad for all those kids whose parents are those censored.gif idiots on shows like Jerry Springer closedeyes.gif jerry.gif

Lol some parents give their kids a head start in being a dipshit and do drugs/alcohol/smoke during pregnancy so the kid is already screwed up closedeyes.gif

I think the gov't should monitor pregnancy lol, you have to be qualified to have a baby or else you will be fined and your child will be taken away from you.

What happens when something new happens? The kid becomes dependent on other people to tell them what is right, if they fall into the wrong crowd, you've just wasted a lot of time better spent teaching him or her other things.

Hmm, what if some kids are just stupid? You can try to guide a kid, but ultimately it's up to him what he wants to do. What is a parent to do? Tie a chain around their neck tongue.gif Though I suppose if there is some very good parenting done then it would be hard for a kid to stray from the path.

True, I used to envy those kids, but now I realize that having strick parents seems to have some good effects. Those kids are some of the people I can't stand. Although there is a limit to parental abuse, such is the way with some of my friends, who are worked to death by their parents, which ends up hurting them overall.

When you're very young, if your parents show you who's boss, they can get through to you because children mimic parents. That's how you learn your native language, from mimicing your parents, it's how you learn to eat, tie your shoes etc. That's why you don't need to go take classes to learn your first language.

This reminds me of something I saw in the news, this kid stabbed his mother over 100 times. It was very disturbing, and the mother was a VERY good parent who did nothing wrong. But the kid was really messed up, he was like visiting sites on how to create guns and he was reading this brainwashing crap about some conspiracy.

His mother wasn't a very good parent if she let her kid go on sites like that, and get sucked into that path. Seriously, that's what's wrong with parents, don't let a little kid use the internet unmonitored, and teach him or her what's wrong before they can do it alone. How the hell can you say she was a good parent? I think I'm gonna log off, these posts are beggining to frustrate me.

No, she caught him viewing porn or something and punished him, but then the kid went wacko.

Just stop posting in this topic, please, the stuff you're sending here is irritating.

I'm serious, I don't think a parent could do much with a kid like that. Plus the fact that the kid stabbed her over 100 times shows something is VERY wrong.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Ultimo on 2005-06-14 at 23:34:13
I feel sorry for her. Darwin doesn't seem to favour humans very much. That's why I'm not letting my kid get on the internet till 14. tongue.gif Maybe I'll have to take off my belt and dish out some good-old fashioned discipline.

I don't. She screwed up, and let it get out of control. I think my parents have a very good approach to raising children. They teach me indirectly how to figure if something is wrong, and yet, I love them all the same because they're very caring. It feels nice to know that when you're little, if you get hurt your parents will take care of you and ask if you're okay.

I figure, if you teach your kid what's wrong, and they love you, you've succeeded as a parent. Being a parent will never be easy, and there's a flawed easier way to everything... spoiling a kid, completly ignoring a little kid etc...

ADDITION:
Dude, her kid looks like a skin head.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by MapUnprotector on 2005-06-14 at 23:47:34
Maybe the mother did all those things, yet the kid is still messed up.

Some people might not be as smart as you PsychoTemplar and appreciate what your parents do for you.

I think its kind of funny how its all circular; the way the parents were taught to bring up children was taught through their parents, ne? If not, then its the whole worlds fault, which, I wouldn't strikeout either...

though I do wonder about all the people I know with divorced parents. That's gotta have an effect on them.

Ever think mabye she deserved it? bye1.gif

Mabye she stabbed him over 100 times with emotional daggers.

It is a parents responsibility to make sure this doesn't happen. This is how we have serial killers in the world.

thats cold... but i know sometimes parents are dipshits who make you do things that are something that you dont want to do and make you do the right things... but once time passes, you know you'll thank them...

So, here we are making a case for why children have no ethics morals or ground rules--being spoiled, and in another thread, we have why children aren't spoiled enough. What's happening now?

who are all of you to judge that woman and her upbringing of HER child. thats great and wonderful that you have great parents who do this and that, but your parents aren't the ones who raised that kid. she did the best she knew how. ok, so the kid flipped out and killed her. but honestly, why are you blaming HER?!?!?!?!? maybe she didn't even know it was going on. you know.......sometimes.......parents......DON'T KNOW EVERY LITTLE THING THAT IS GOING ON IN THE HOLE censored.gif ING PLANET! come on...think about it. when you get married, your not bestowed with the gift of infante knowledge....you get toasters and shit. all you can do is the best you can. and if the kid is a jack ass, its not your fault. you did know that your kid is not you, it is a completely different being. and i'm sorry if this if flamming........but no one cares about your parents and what they do for you PsychoTemplar, this hole conversation stared out with this lady who, in your eyes, "messed up". you show me the handbook that come with us kids. you show me where she didn't fallow that handbook to the "T" oh......weight a tick....THERE IS NO GOD DAMN HANDBOOK!
