Why am I doing it like that? 
Because, I have to make the RPG first. And if I already have the RPG done, why not release a regular RPG and then a MOD? Also, with the MOD I can add more features to make this map one hell of an RPG.

Prologue
 
The Amulet of Altana, was indeed the most sought after Relic of its time. It was believed to cast immortality and give King Miyu's powers to whoever was bearing the Amulet. But, there was a price to pay for those who are not chosen. Those who are not within the Royal Blood of the Remoran Warriors, would slowly lose their mind and become nostalgic, an empty shell. But, they were immortal. Is that a price you are willing to pay? No longer being able to feel love or hate. That is where you choose your path. The journey begins here.

Also, there is one thing that I need from everyone else. And that is to keep me motivated, that way this map will be finished.

Well, with the advanced AI, I am going to spend hours upon hours making the regular battles very hard but fun. I am still unsure of how I will go about doing this, but you'll see how it will be a little later.

How will you incorporate all those skill types? All the elements and what not I mean. Everyone who has tried doing so many elements in a game has given up.

Yea this map looks fun. i'm glad its not a bound! this map seems pritty original. I look forward to be seeing Screenshots and the basic outline of your map. Good luck.

This sounds a lot like my map, and by the looks of mine I am pretty excited with it. Maybe yours will be the same. biggrin.gif

Anyways, good luck. If you end up releasing a Demo I would enjoy it, to see how you went about doing what you are.

I also think you should Add Music and make a mod version. A mod version would be crazy! and having music at the right spots is always fun smile.gif. I would really enjoy both. Please update us smile.gif.

Snipe, he's making the RPG and a mod to go with it to enhance playing, and I'm sure he has enough sense to put music into an RPG map. tongue.gif

Well, I regret to inform you that the storyline is not what I would like. So, I am changing the stroyline and a couple of things. I'll keep you all updated.

Anyways...
The story sounds original, I guess, for I've never heard anything of that sort.
Real Time Combat as well as Turn Based? I'd like to know how you will be using both in your RPG. I like how you will be able to combine spells and items to create new ones, something I have never seen done in an RPG.
So far it sounds like it will come out as an enjoyable map, and it'd be cool if you can tell us about the character(s) if possible. Good luck!
