1) Make it bigger (display more)?
2) Show the post order from top to bottom rather than bottom to top? (More logical if you think about it)

#1 Can easily be implemented in SENv4 and in SENv5.
#2 Doesn't really make much sense... Thats why you have the time.

#2 would be confusing because we are all used to it going up and down.

You'd be surprised how quickly you can adapt to more logical methods.

1. Doesn't really matter, Does it? As long as we can read it and understand it, Were fine.
2. Yes, It may be more logical. But you can read it the way it come's in easier.

#1 is a good idea, but if it were bigger it would take up to much room...


i remember an old site that had the shoutbox on top, but just like a 7cm by 5 cm box kinda thing, and then where you write the msg on the right side.

#1 It should be about 20 pixels or so larger (from top to bottom) to allow for easy viewing of the conversation...
#2 Yeah, I definutely agree with you there. It'd be much more logical if when you shouted it appeared at the bottom and the rest of the shouts moved up, rather than the upside-down way it is now. It's really quite annoying as it is.

2) Yes, it should... all shoutbox are like that.

yes but a shout box isn't like a normal thread post, you dont need the order the same, becuase it's more about whats recently been said then the whole thread of the conversation. I think that making it bigger would be a good idea, but that #2 is not that big of a deal.

Every shoutbox I have seen when you add to it, it adds to the top.

When you add a memo to a stack, do you put the most recent one on the bottom?[/badexample:\]

#2: Nono, I think that's a bad idea. It's not very 'logical' as to us as it is to you. You're constantly scrolling and right now, I don't think anyone has a problem reading it at all. Why change it?

The ability to make the shoutbox as nearly as big as you want and show more shouts has been implemented. I'll add the ability to show it in whatever order you want too, I forgot about that .

Awesome, IP doesnt only change it, but he makes it user selectable!
