Im currently working on a Shinsengumi RPG based on the Ikeda-Ya incident.
Playable Characters:
Captain 1st unit: Okita Soshi
Captain 2nd unit: Nagakura Shinpachi
Captain 3rd unit: Saito Hajime
Captain 4th unit: Matsubara Chuji
Captain 5th unit: Takeda Kanryusai
Captain 6th unit: Inoue Genzaburo
Captain 7th unit: Tani Sanjuro
Captain 8th unit: Todo Heisuke
Captain 9th unit: Suxuki Mikisaburo
Captain 10th unit: Harada Sanosuke
Special Crap: Level up and learn each Captains Techniques (i.e. Saito's Gatotsu) and prevent the burning of Kyoto.
This map won't be completed for a long time cause i need 2 research the Shinsengumi some more.
Look out for the Shinsengumi-Ikeda Ya RPG!

I don't have any information on the Shinsengumi, although this RPG fascinates me. Make sure to make it difficult, so as not to dissappoint. 
If I can dig up anything on the Shinsengumi, I'll tell you. In the mean time, don't get excited (or depressed).

What is Shinsengumi?? why not show how much you have done? Tell more about the terrain or story. What it wil be like. Explain things for us to get the general Idea of what its like. Whats game play going to be like? Anything original about it? Details . Well i wish you the best of luck with your Rpg and i know they are a lot of work. So good luck and keep us Updated.

I'll try to find some stuff about the Shinsengumi . This might be hard to find though.

I found information on the Ikeda-Ya incident though.
Ikeda Inn Incident was a famous armed encounter between the anti-shogunate forces from Chosu (now Yamaguchi) and the Shinsengumi on July 1864 in Kyoto, Japan. The anti-shogunate forces were planning to set fire in Kyoto and overthrow the Aizu clan who were policing Kyoto at the time. The Shinsengumi figured out their plan and slaughtered them before they could carry it out. There was only one death on the side of of the Shinsengumi. This incident made it clear in Kyoto that the Shinsengumi were a strong force to be feared by the anti-shogunate.

you know those who make there games immpossable well never become famous those who make there games fun and not EXTREMly hard do but you got to add some diffucalaty but dont make it so hard that no one well ever have fun bro ok
