I wanted to create a trigger that adds x amount of minerals when the current player's killing&razing score reaches x amount (5k to be exact) and then reset to 0.
I also wanted to create a trigger that adds x amount of vespean gas when the current player's kills 1 unit (reset kill score to 0 when gas is given).
So will there be any conflict (kill score reseting killing&razing score)? Since the word 'kill score' is also in 'killing&razing score'.
Killing and razing is both the unit kill score AND the building kill score. Thus, using a kill score command will not effect the razing score.
I think that each is a separate variable but I'm not sure. Why don't you just try it yourself?
Kill and razing score is just kill score added to the razing score, which are both separate.
So if you modify the Kill OR Razing score (Alone) will it change the score of the Kill AND Razing score?
As stated before Kills and Razing score is both combined scores.
So if you subtract from Kills or Razings then the Kills and Razings score goes down.
If you subtract from Kills and Razings score then you're subtracting from BOTH Kills score and Razings score.

"When the current player's kills 1 unit" is talking about the Kill Score and not the condition Cur. Player Kills X Number of Ys, right?

There is no such condition "Player kills X number of Ys."
Chu, do you mean to say that if a player's kills and razings score is 100, and you subtract 25 kills and razings, their kills and razings score would be 50?
Edit: At first that seemed like a poor solution for the blizzard programmers, but I can't think of a better one. Maybe it does kinda make sense..

In Starforge terms, Kills(player,comparison,number,unit);

No, because Kills score could be 20 and Razings score could be 80 meaning that after you subtract 25 kills and razings their kills and razings score would be 55. It depends on the values of kills score and razings score. But do correct me if I'm wrong, this is only what I've observed through testing.
Ack! Fred, you are right. I can't believe I forgot that! I guess I was thinking there was no action to change those kill values. Looks like I need to brush up on my mapping skills...
Chu: I wasn't thinking about the corner case where one of the scores was less than what you were trying to subtract. I just found it interesting that changing "kills and razings" is the same as changing "kills" and "razings" and mathematically didn't make much sense, but logically it does.
Sheesh, Heimdal, you MADE Starforge, lol. Bah, I guess that says nothing about your mapping skills.

Let's all laugh at him!!
But first, here's a map to solve everything, but it won't save you any money on car insurance.
so are the scores independent of one another?
i.e. Kill and Raze score is 400, then Kill score is 200 and raze score must be 200?
well...the numbers could be different.
Think about it this way
Kills score
+ Razings score
_________
Kills and Razings score
so if kills is 300
and razings is 100
kills and razings would be 400
But if you kill a inf. Kerrigan, will you get 4000 in the killing&Razing and Kill score?
or will you get 1 in killing and 4000 in killing&Razing?
After killing kerrigan, you will only recieve kill score.
Kill score = unit kills
Razings = building kills
Kerrigan is not a building

Kill SCORE is not one point per kill. Thats only Kills
Check out the tutorials for a list of point values for all units.
Here is an example.
If you kill a zergling...
- your kills will be 1
- your kill score will be 50
- your kills and razing score will be 50
err i guess that your kill score does NOT go up when you kill buildings but your razing score does.
Wild9, you could save alot of time testing this yourself. (less than 9 days anyways)
My starcraft cd was damaged from over use. It was litterally cracked. When I started hearing wierd noises coming from my cd drive while i was testing, I opened the cd tray and then I saw that the cd had cracked in half. So, no i could not test it myself. Now i have to spend $20 to get a new copy of starcraft (i originaly got it for $3).
Im cheap. very cheap, I dont even have a home pc, hell Im posting from a library computer! I play starcraft at my cousin's house. well i use to.
btw, Does the expansion need the original starcraft disc to play? if so then buying the expansion only will not suffice.
Uhh figured everyone knew this that has played the game.
The expansion needs to have the expansion disk to play. The original needs to be installed, but you don't need to have the disk except to install the orignal version.
well, me being a cheapo, I've never had the chance to play broodwars.
btw, if anyone had the chance to try out that score testing .scm, plz fill me in.
i suggest you borrow a copy of SC:original from a friend, use your own cd key, then buy your own SC:BW
