Okay, I was testing my map to see if the sound would work properly, And it did. But there is one problem, The ugly background music of the real game was playing to, So it made the song in my map sound ugly.

How would I go about disabling the background music so they only hear my wav only?

Put "Press Ctrl+M do disable your music" in the briefing or at the start of the game.

Ctrl+M toggles the music.

Starcraft remembers your settings. If you disable music it will stay disabled until you enable it again. Even if you restart your computer or starcraft.

There is no way to change this setting via triggers, you can only suggest that players do it as already stated.

I've always had mine off when i first started starcraft and it stayed like that for a really really long time. I don't even usaully need the background music anyways, cause usaully alot of maps have music.
