Yea as you can tell from my sig i'm a big fan of zombies biggrin.gif i just saw land of the dead at a 12 o clock showing it was SICK!!! 0_0 neways i was inspired so i plan to make a map Roughly based around it my idea is something along the lines of this

- Heres a brief history of what led up to this point. -
After the First brake out of zombies In night of the living dead zombies started invaded farm lands and country sides, The problem seemed like it could be handled. Then in dawn of the dead the zombies left the country sides and began moving to the cities and the problem seem to be worldwide and getting outa control. In day of the dead most of the world is being consumed by the living dead and there was no stopping it the end seemed near. Now in land of the dead the world as we know is now consumed by the dead and only a few places left on earth shelter the living. My map takes place in one of these places.

Alright the map takes place in a city built within a city. The Undead seem to never stop attacking as they can sense the living and are drawn to them. The city manage to build it self a stable community which is protected by a hired army which will be playable. In the past weeks strange events have led some to believe that the once mindless walking rotting corpses are learning and may became an extreme threat. But this is blown off as lies that would scared the people into overthrowing the city. Some odd days later communication with the city limit is lost and within a couple of hours mods of the undead are storming the city for victims. Most of the city has been lost but a small area in the center of the city in preparing to Escape, The area has been set up with blockades from the remaing hired army and they must hold off the takeover long enough for all civilians to escape. But who knows how much time they have.

The map will be roughly a defence type of map in a sense you must hold off untell the timer reaches zero there will be 4 or 5 blockades areas which each player will be incharge of and if a player isnt there when the game starts then there spot will be blocked off to keep the game even but however if they leave after the game has started the other players must find a way to protect that area. You must defend your area as long as possible as small groups of civilians are taken to safety if all Blockades should fail then the remaining players will retreat to the center of the city and last blockade, were the final battle will take place. If you can hold them off long enough for all civilian to escape then you might just escape with your life.

i dont wanna give to much away so i'll end it with that. Uh suggestion always welcomed i plan to start the map shortly. Thanks.

Hey man, the storyline sounds awesome. I like how everything seemed logical.

I like the zombies 'learning' idea. It'll be kinda scary. In the map you can somehow incorporate a system so that the zombies can 'communicate' each other and support each other at weak spots.

Also make civilians walk around smile.gif

And.. and.. and also include vehicles! Run over zombies hell yeah!

This looks great! You must finish!

I'd love to test the map if its possible smile.gif

Yes Dark Marine this does sound very cool, and I love defense maps. Just need to make defense maps have alot of new stuff in them, kinda like what your going to make. And Screwed has good ideas, like the "communicating" with each other, and to not just have the civs sit there and wait to die, but move around. Well good luck on your map, and hey if I could be a tester I wouldn't mind helping you out either. smile.gif

Hmm yea that would be cool to have zombies move to and area thats weaker i'll throw it in or atlease try to and yea i could use a couple of testers when i have beta ready i'll inform you guys.

Good luck on the map. I saw the movie..are you going to add the electric fence as well? And with the learning system..will it involve the "Leader Figure" <as seen in the movie> picking up items and learning how to use them?

ADDITION:
I'd rather not make another post...but, if you had the "Skyflowers" it would be cooler

yea i was thinking about the eletric fence and how i could incorparate it intot he map i was thinking something long the line of it being that but you have to protect its power generator which is destoyed the fence is down.

Are u working still working on the map?? it sounds great! add some random stuff and secrets that are hard so i will come back again and again to play!
