You might think I'm being really stupid for asking this bangin.gif but on my mapmaking system (starcraft x-tra editor 2.6) the terrain making makes the walls way too big, so it won't work for my map if they're too thick. I know how to place staircases and that, but there I can't figure it out! chair.gif Anyway, if you know about what i'm talking about, please post back. uberwoot.gif thanks a lot.

For superior control of terrain, use StarForge or SCMDraft2, both available at SEN.

It sounds like you want to do some "blending".
Check here too: http://www.staredit.net/index.php?showtopic=10722&hl=blend

This isn't a 'concepts' thread - next time post in the terrain forum. And don't post two threads on the same thing. (*points to thread in MMA*)

To make thin walls in staredit or xtra editor, you place walls of thickness 1 isometrical square first, then thin them by using the 'ground' terrain around the walls.

Walls too big I see...
Use Rectangle Terrain! biggrin.gif
Doesn't look as nice though..

You can't, however, change the size of the isom brush or make square terrain (ISOM is just stupid), or even make walls narrower than the normal SC narrowest.
