Is it possible to have (a) unit(s) move to location but not necessarily to the center of it? As in with one location. If I could use other locations there would be no point in putting the bigger location in the first place. It seems like an impossible task.

Mobile meaning you spawn the grid in the larger location.

You could order him to the location then as soon as he gets there center a location on the unit and order him to the centered location. (stopping him before he reaches the center)
I'm not sure what your intensions are but that might be a possablitiy.
Edit: read over the thread, I was thinking move as in "order"

It probably doesn't even have to be mobile - a burrowed grid system may work as well.

If you don't want it to be in the center, just create a unit at the location, move the other unit, and kill the spawned unit. To get a smaller or larger radius, use a smaller or larger unit. Will probably only work with ground.

I was assuming that his large location was going to be moved around. Otherwise he could just make smaller locations inside that larger one.
