Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> Starcraft Crashing!
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Elrohir on 2005-06-26 at 16:41:03
Ok, I made this map and when I start up starcraft and try to host it on the internet to test it with my friend when he tries to join it says 'unable to join selected game'. So I try to test it myself offline. As soon as the game briefing is done, starcraft goes black and crashes. Now I use xtra editor and starforge about once in it, I checked and there are no units out of bounds and no buildings that crash sc. I spent alot of time on this map and have not even been able to play it.

Are you using a mod?
Did you even look at the link or are you just trying to be different?
Have you considered reinstalling SC?
Do you like this Smile? ranting.gif
Do you have a modem that has a built in firewall that blocks your connection to BNet? (Happen to me once...)
Do you know what happen to the pie?
If it's a space or tarpit map, are you sure some of the terrain is space / tarpit and not null?

Maybe its your disk? Maybe you comp is in need of a Format? I think you should look over you disk for scratches or you computer is just in good condition. Just try and think common sense.
