Staredit Network -> UMS Production -> Quick D Game Poll

Just wondering...

Anyway, my idea is that the computer is set to enemy against the P7, the computer controller of a Photon Cannon in the center of the map. If a unit, or multiple units, gets through, it deals damage to the Photon Cannon. Kinda a mix of the two, I guess, since its HP is kinda what lives would represent. If the Photon Cannon dies, you lose. (It shoots back as a sort of last defense thing)

This is a diffifuclt D Game, it's supposed to keep a pro player on the edge of loss at all times.

You'll see more details when I sumbit the finished version, which will be tommorow, probably.

Reply: smile.gif Note my Post on Pylonless Photon Cannons. This is what it was for.

EDIT: Hmmm.... I would like to be able to let you all download my map before I release it, so you could help me find mistake and stuff. How would I do that?

Your Idea, it sounds cool!

Your idea is good, but if tons of units get by and kill the Photon Cannon, it will be as if you just had lives to manage it. I myself am a fan of anticipating defeat and seeing how many lives you have left until you lose. With your idea, you'd have no idea when you lose - which I suppose is a good thing and raises the anticipation.

How would you do that?

What are you referring to?

If you were referring to posting your map in this topic then I could tell you how:

First once you are in the "Reply" screen, scroll down to where it says File Attachments. Then click on "Browse" and find your file that you want to upload, and then once you got your file selected, hit the "Add This Attachment" button right next to the "Browse" button. Then once that is done uploading, there will be a download area with your map in it, now to get this into the post for other people to download it you would just click anywhere on your "Text" area (Where you type your replies) Then next to the "Add This Attachment" button there will be a button that says "Add Into Post" and just click on that and your done. biggrin.gif

I am reffering to how I would put the little link thing for a download that I see in certain posts. Do I have to sumbit my map or what? I want to let everyone who want to test it out and looks for mistakes and stuff before I actually sumbit it to the downloads DB.

Thanks. Ya okay so tommorow I'll post a bug hunt version.
What section would that belong in?
This one or Assistance or what?

Reply: If they want to. I'm not demanding it or anything. I am not like this guy- ranting.gif . I'll give them credit in my map if I have enough units left over.

Reply 2: Thanks. If you want to help me out with it, check this section tommorow. smile.gif
