Have you compressed your music file? That should take it down abit, to put on SEN.

That's about the only way that your going to do it, or shorten you music file. Try those ideas.

Yes, music is the sole cause of huge maps. If it is anything other than a single-player map, shorten it to less then 500k by removing music. if it's single player, remove music to make it fit on SEN.

maybe you could compress your music? or try an alternitve way. there is no way a map can be really bigg with just triggers tongue.gif.

well it is a single player map cause its a trailer. i didnt want anyother players playing it since people could lag and mess up timing with music plus its a long dl

who ever looks at a before its a file on staredit does he see that its over 5MB and just X's it. or will he give it a chance OR will it just not allow it to pass though?

The limit is 5MB, and I suggest on just compressing your music. biggrin.gif

If your file is over the maximum allowed limit, your submission will be automatically denied. When you press submit, you'll get an error saying 'your file is over 5mb, you can't submit it.'. Just cut a little music to shorten it.

i took out the theme song of the map now its 125kb HAHAHA but now theres no point to the trailer who wants to watch a trailer with no music. boring. plus it takes out the hole purpuse of the map. the song is 114 seconds long how is that 5MB

wait how do they do that thing when they have the music but its not part of the map. like in one of tux defeneses he has that serve the hive music in the back ground???

Also how did tux do it in his A &O trailer isnt that song just as long?

ADDITION:
Guys i cut 9 seconds out of the song i got it to 5.12MB :-) im still looking for stuff i can take out

Use an audio application to change the WAV from stereo to mono. That should cut the size in half.

Also, open the map with winMPQ and hit the "compress" button.
