I was just thinking it would be cool if someone made a 1v1 map with both mains on the same island, and all the expos on different islands (no expos on the island with the main). If there's already a map like this, I would like to see it.

hm i suppose that would be quite anti-zerg. A similar idea crossed my mind more than once, but I was going to have a natural expansion per player with gas.

Well, if you were zerg, and you didn't win in the early game, you would be pretty much sqrewed over. However the zerg might have an advantage in the early game becuase the bases would end up close together most likely.

If you made a map like that it would be incredibly unbalanced, for one thing Zerg's wouldn't be able to expo untill later in the game. It would also be advantaged for terran, because they could just build a CC in their base and lift off to another base.

that looks cool but he said 1v1 and no expos on the main island. but anyways, if you played that map you can place a siege tank on the edge near teal and blue and siege the expos near them. but if u place one at red's i think it wont reach.

Not shared bases. It really doesn't matter what the size is, I think a map like this would create for some fun gameplay.

Wouldn't work, you'd get screwed over, even by the time the 4 SCV's got there the other person would have 6 workers.

Hmmmm, well cuz I think i recall seeing some people being able to do successful SCV rushes on other races' bases and owning them... barely.

CheeZe owned PolishMarine on LT by sending the 4 drones on Polish who was Terran and beat him, that was downright hilarious, I'll get the replay from Cheeze.
