Yeah, I used to use campaign creations, but they don't list it anymore, or at least that I can find.

Damn Bolt_head, you've gone far with this map making thing, I remember joining larva dodge game you hosted way back. It was a lot better than the other dodge maps, where you race to the finish.

Place a Scarab for Player 14 as the FIRST unit on the map. Then all of the units after the scarab will be faster! Enjoy! bleh.gif

What's the function from interceptors?

Interceptors work just like scarabs: they give '4x' speed

Yea thats good and all, but i have seen maps that dont use it as its first unit but add in the these units later and still get the speed, i have heard of a way to make it the first through starforge but i have forgot the number sequence to do so, or where to put it at.

Well, you dont need to know why it does what it does to use it.

Here is a list of units and what speed they do:
CODE
Player 14 Scanner Sweep          When the animation is done, units are frozen in the
animation they we last using (So if you had a marine
walking, it will walk and may not even go anywhere)
Player 14 Map Revealer           1.5x speed
Player 14 Interceptor            2x speed
Player 14 Scarab                 4x speed
Got lazy after that, so thats all I know. (I used to know another like Scanner Sweep)
Dunno if any of that is changed with patches....

EDIT: This doesn't look good if you are using 800x600 resolution tongue.gif

So, we HAVE to place the units first, means that we can't modify finished/half-finished maps. If we want the 2x or 4x speed, we have to remake the map again, is that right?

There are 3 ways to do that:
1) Start the map over.
2) Use SCM toolkit v1.66 and find out which unit was placed first. Then change the unit ID and properties to those that you wanted and then replace that first unit (which will now be last).
3) Use uBeR@TiOn v2.0.0.2's Importer/Exporter or SCM Importer Exporter BETA v1.5 to export the units. Then open the map, delete all the units and place the first one, then re-import all the units.

Players 13 and above were never meant to be placed on the map so they have weird functions in the game. They interface strangely with SC's memory, and that is why they generate all sort of odd effects.
