Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> Centering Location on unit in Transport

I've been wondering, and I tested it, if a unit in a transport would be detected by a location. After testing I found that it would. I also found that if you set the location to not recognize things in the air, that it wouldn't. Now I want to know, is there a way to center a location on a unit that is in a transport, without centering the location on the transport itself.

Why would you want to do that? Centering the location on the transport seems to be the most efficient.

What if you don't know for sure whether the unit will be in the transport or not?

Have you tested it?

If yes, and it didn't work, try this:

Make the location air-only

Conditions: Current player brings one unit to Air location
Actions: Center some location on transport owned by current player at air location

Okay I have tested with that a bit and have found that choosing whether a location is air and stuff will not affect the location itself. So i belive it will only affect the conditions of the location.
hope I help. smile.gif

I don't think you can center a location on a unit in a transport for this reason:
QUOTE(Blizzard Entertainment @ SCC: Frequently Asked Questions)
Why can't I remove specific Map Revealers on my map?
Patch 1.05 for Brood War and StarCraft will allow you to remove all map revealers on a map, but not individual revealers within a location. Invisible or hidden units are not technically findable by trigger, just as you cannot find units in a transport, which are also marked as hidden. This means that you are still not be able to remove any Map Revealers from a specific location, since that would require the game to find them within those specific coordinates, which it cannot. If you need to remove specific revealers, the way to do it is to remove them all and then recreate those that should remain.

You can center a location on a unit in a transport; it works just fine.

Just follow the blood trail in the attached map to see where the location is.

If you can detect it at a specific location, then you can do ANYTHING to it, regardless of unit, colour, race, sex, and religion.
