I followed all the dldb instructions for uploading a map, but it doesn't seem to work. It says the file type i submitted is not allowed, and at the top of the screen it says Looking for: .scx within: Array.

That's really all the information I can give. The map is a .scx file that is 1.63mb in size. Please help me with this problem, thank you and sorry if this was wasted.

Not a waste. We do need to know which category you're submitting the file to, though.

Are you submitting a 'single UMS map', or a 'group of UMS maps'?

Thank you, i'm gone for awhile and somehow accused of map stealing =/.

Anyway, it is 1 UMS Rpg Category Map that is 1.67mb. And the same error i listed above is still in effect.

I unbanned from the DLDB a long time ago.
Make sure that you are uploading the correct file extension to the corresponding group.

my side of that isnt working either.
i did this.
i clicked add a file, then clicked on multiple UMS, then typed all the information, then choose arena/click, then since i used a broodwar unit i choose the scx.

all of a sudden slow lag appears and then and error screen popped up like Tdnfthe1.

can anyone guide me out of this problem?

Make sure that you are uploading the correct file extension. And also be sure it meet's the correct file size.

MULTIPLE UMS means just that, it's expecting a zip file (most likely with more than one map in it).

whoops what was i smoking.
thanks i didnt really see the single map thing.
i thought multiple means all players playing not the maps.

Problem found, I saved the file as the wrong extension. The map has already been approved in the DLDB and is getting nice ratings, thanks for the help.
