Stormcoast just confessed to their april fools joke about SCMdraft > patch 1.11. Sounds like a lot of people here were fooled 
However, Heimdal, creator of Starforge, tells that this is not a joke. He truely is leaving the mapping community to explore other areas of programming. It looks like the eyes of the community will be set on SCMdraft very soon.
Personally, I've always supported and envyed both Map editors. We have some truely great programmers in this community!
