You are more than free to do this. We actually encourage map makers who learn something or use our resources (tutorials, wavs etc) to add our URL, so other map makers can use these as well.
Unlike other websites in the community, this websites mission isn't to leach as many hits as possible so we can blow you away with advertising and BS. This map was orginally intended to be an awsome resource for UMS mapping. Spreading the word and getting other mappers to come around as well, and also submit sme resources.

Wait I think i have strayed off topic already. Well yeah i guess this site is quite usefull for peoples. Maybe i can increase the popularity by taking those pictures of Yoshi on the news page and Making maps out of them using bmp2scm. It will be the new best thing (sexy picture 11+) Yeah!!!

I think thats bolts trick to mapping...

Ya. I'm gonna advertise SEN in the Abysmall Reign Rpg I'm making.
And I put it in my User Description as "Favorite Website: www.staredit.net".
I don't really like the idea of plenty of new members(higher chance of getting more of those "How do I do some-really-easy-thjing-that-canbe-figured-out-by-reading-any-faq-the-help-in-SE-or-by-looking-around-at-the-various-menus?" people), I'm still advertising. Higher chance of good map makers.
