I was just going through the old closed topics, and found the one that I created about the moderators. Now i'm all over the fact that it got closed, but as I read, I began to see some things in there, that piss me off now.

For example, do you guys think that calling someone immature is a flame? Is that not stating that their mind has not fully developed? Do you see any flame in saying that in your opinion someone is immature?

I really don't want to bring it up because I mite get warned for it (and then i'll be gone) but seriously. Warning someone for opinion, isn't that a bit.... Childish or even stupid? I'm not saying the person is stupid or childish, I am saying their actions are childish, or even stupid.

Cause as members of SEN, and how we participate in the Serious Discussion forum, aren't we entilted to our opinions?

I would just like to bring this up so we may have an intelligent discussion about this. And please. Don't flame or spam or become a "Devilesk" ( Just givin ya crap Devil) just for the sake of SEN.

Correcting moderators here is forbidden, as is pointing out flaws in what they're doing, even though you're just trying to let them know you don't like it (not insulting them).

I can't use the acronym QED (after being asked to explain something really obvious) without getting a verbal warning telling me never to use it again. You can't please everyone, so just try to please the people you like.

I don't think it's immature to treat moderators like other members, and to question authority. But the authority will almost never enjoy this experience, so you have to be very concise if you want them to listen.

Kellimus, you're younger than me. Calling me immature is a really big insult to me.

Phycho, QED is slang and ment to be very insulting where I come from. What does it mean to you?

Oh yeah, I dont think anyone has been banned for posting their opinion.

I think warning someone for stating a reasonable opinion not meant to be insulting is immature, yes?

I don't want to be rude but, isn't warning me because of my opinion, kind of immature? And you didn't even give a verbal warning either, so I think that could add to it.

I'm not trying to start a fight or get myself banned, but I just don't understand why you didn't follow the procedures like mods are supposed to (at least I thought that had procedures...)

That wasn't JUST an opinion, it was a flame. You got warned for that. I'm fine with you pointing out how we aren't doing our jobs right but when you go around saying we're immature little kids then it turns into a flame. I'm sorry if you can't see that but I also don't see you going to the right people or right topics to deal with it. You just keep making new topics. Why dont you post where I asked you to to deal with this sort of stuff?

No, if someone flames there is usually a warn level added with a verbal warning. Especially if you've already been warned 3 times for flaming. And I don't see how you don't see how calling someone older than you is an insult and a flame. Seriously, take it up in the right thread.

It's not slang where I come from. It's said when something has been undeniably proved. I'm getting damn tired of people telling me the words I use are slang, even though they're not. After telling someone they were being a dolt they replied along the lines of "i dont know what dolt means, i dont follow your ed up slang" which is oddly convienent.

I make fun of people older than me all the time, and they don't get "butt hurt" over it. They know it's a joke. But when I wrote that, I meant it. Because of the simple fact, that most the mods I had come in contact with (excluding you) had shown signs of immaturity and act childish.

But now (no offence) you are acting kind of childish because you cannot seem to understand that being called "immature" and being "immature", are two different aspects.

And I just got word that I have four warnings for "Flamming", and one of them is, "For calling someone an idiot".

How many people get warned for that? Seriously. Isn't that stupid to warn someone for calling someone an idiot, when people do it all the time and don't get warned for it?

Why am I the only that gets warned for these things?

I think it's safe to say that on the internet, people are going by the dictionary. In the future, it's safe for you to assume that at least I always am.

He was just saying that maybe Chuiu shouldn't be to hasty to warn people, because it creates missunderstandings.

Like I said, I never knew QED had another meaning so how else am I going to take it but the meaning I know? I don't go looking up things I already understand. I was obviously wrong, but I still dont see how thats immature or bad of me - anyone else would do the same thing. All you had to do was point out what it really ment. No harm done. Also, Psycho was using a PM I sent him. I'll be more cautious in the future but it's little misunderstandings like this that happen everywhere in everyday life.
