you could have maybe used a grid to make it more precise?

If you want to make a wall with traps, it's pretty easy. it requires SCMDraft 2 to get it just right. You have to have the "place units on grid" function enabled. Then, you place your traps like this.
[attachmentid=11308]
Select one of the rows that is lower, hold shift, then select all of the other "lower walls". Release shift once you have selected them all. Now, hold ctrl and press the up arrow key once. And tada, here is your wall.
[attachmentid=11309]
Using the ctrl + arrow method allows for movement aligned to the grid, making aligning traps easy and efficent.

will that work with starforge too? sf have "Place units on grid" too

It's much slower to move, and you have to actually take some time to align everything up. Just use Starforge for terrain,(SCMDraft 2 gets REALLY FREAKING annoying when you're trying to do mosaic terrain), but it is ownage at placing units and sprites, (proper tileset color).

I think he means to use the grid snap, a function that I wish more of my friends would use.

You also should use the ctrl + arrow method of movement in SCMDraft 2. Read my post thoroughly.

How do you "not use it well"? 0_o
And what grid-size did you use?
I know that for missile-traps you should use 32/16.

Can we post these sort of things in a concepts forum? I don't really consider this terrain.
