Is it possible to make spider mines not burrow? Maybe with player 12? I thought it worked with ''rescuable'' computers, but then u cant use them as well..

This is just an idea. I've never really tested. You notice how sometimes, when a spidermine starts attacking a unit, but it just wont explode cause its not in right position? Well, if you could do that somehow with a DT or something, maybe it would work. Or, you could just put DT's ontop of a spidermine and pretend its standing up tongue.gif

One stupid question. What is DT?

Stack two Spider Mines on top of each other and then give it something to attack. So long as what they're going for never goes near the mines to explode them, they should go forever.

Rite, I get the first part. U mean I put DT's in front of the mines so they dont attack the target behind it? Because it wouldnt work at dark templar cuz mines detect. But I need an easyer solution like player 12.

Indeed, a stupid question it is. tongue.gif DT is a Dark Templar.

Well, simply creating a spider mine for a neutral player creates one that wont burrow.
You can see that in my map Grid Testing.

Use Mini Moose 2707's idea. It will work. The mines can't move because they are stacked. The only way they can explode is if a unit walks right infront of it, other than that if the unit is in the mines range it will try to get it but be stuck.

create ur wall of spider mines, then place a unit like dt owned by a different player in the same place as the wall. now use hypers to keep changeing th alliance status of the mines to the dts as enemy, then ally , then enemy and so forth. this fast changing of status should keep the mines un burrowed but will not give them enough time to attack the dts. i will test this soon.
try it
