I think that hot topics should have a minimum post count of 50 though, not the current 15.

Hmm, that was a dumb post of mine. I now understand what the Hot Poll meant, and I think it might be useful, but as warhamma said it's not really common to see a hot poll.

I was thinking, for senv5, there wouldn't even be a "hot topic". Too many colors.
Instead, there will be what yoshi referes to as "flags"... instead of 1 icon for topic/poll/new post etc, there will be a couple. Poll = poll flag. New reply = new flag. Mature topic = mature flag. I have yet to actually put it into play, so it might change depending on looks... But if that's the case, the flags can't ever be achieve more than 4.

I do not even pay attention to the "Hot Topic" thing.
1. If it is a topic that intrests me, I will go in.
2. If it is a hot topic, I will go in it just as I would a normal topic.
3. If it is a normal topic, I will go in it just as I would a hot topic.
4. If it is a topic that does not interest me, I will skip it. (Unless I am bored and feel like going in it.)
