Scenario->Players, click a player, type a number into the box next to "Color."
You cannot change the colors of players > 8.

You cant edit Players >8, I even tried with Hex Workshop. (I edited the CHK and all I ended up doing was making the map unable to load. And I made sure I did everything right when adding new bytes)
