As you may have all heard, there was 4 separate attacks in london. It was said that "it is hard to say how many people are wounded or dead", but I'm reading about 33 dead, 150 seriously injured, and many more walking wounded.
A forum regular, long time very good friend of mine, and the second member ever registered on this site - Tazzy - had a close call, and had been at the location of one of the attacks 5 minutes prior to the explosion.
On behalf of Staredit Network, our sympathy goes out to all the families and individuals involved in this senseless act of violence.

I value the people of Britain no more than I value the people of Iraq, as I value all people equally. This tragedy is mournful, but you always hear about "suicide bombing claims 17 in Iraq!" and other news along those lines, so it's pretty much the norm now.

The death of 37 or more people in London is very sad indeed, but it's 9/11 IMO is worse.
Mainly because with 9/11, over 4000+ innocent people died and thousands more injured or hurt.

Also during 9/11 a two VERY important buildings were knocked down, and really messed up our stock market and economy. But this is still a tragic event. I feel sorry for all the people not even knowing what happened to their loved ones and not even knowing if they are dead or not, they are just missing.

Great Britain will now fully support our efforts into our war on terrorism, whether they be in some unlikely places or not (like iraq) if they haven't already.
And soon the terrorists will strike again in another country and soon the whole world will fight against terrorism and then here comes wwIII

O and have you noticed how these terrorist attacks are becoming less and less successful now? Because with their first big case with 9/11, thousands were killed. With Madrid, a hundred or so (or less) were killed. With London, even fewer were killed. By the time they make their next several attempts, i betcha they probably couldn't even scratch a fly.
And soon the terrorists will strike again in another country and soon the whole world will fight against terrorism and then here comes wwIII

Well if that's how "world war III" turns out it doesn't seem like that big a deal. I mean who would fight on the sides of terrorists? I'm sure if we have all of our allies with us then it would be no problem, it certainly won't be another wwII and holocaust I think.

if this turns out to be serious im building a wooden bomb shelter. cuz the news says they have chemical wepons, which the US has not found. and if london is our allie, i say US goes over there and use chemical weapons against them. and if london isnt our allie, screw them and pile up sandbags.
