It's much better than the other post. Good job. biggrin.gif

You have the hang of it now, so you can start experimenting with everything.

Hee hee, nice job from water to high dirt. The rest is pretty much the same as your previous job.

thats cool, but on the 2nd one try adding a 3rd layer to the 2nd one. Only put it past the ramp/cave/door so it looks more like ur going up.

Fela... You do realize you can do what he did in the normal editor its 2 layers... You can put high dirt beside water...

How to make Starforge brushes:
Go to the Terrain Layer.
Select the tiles you want in a box (left-click + drag).
Right click and select Create Brush.
Select the new brush from the list and give it a name (optional).
Press Save to save the brush to a file (to use with other maps). You can save more than one brush to the same file, to make your own brush set.

How to use other people's brushes:
Enter the Custom dialog under the terrain panel.
Click the Load button to select the brush file you want (.sfb file, I think).
Click the brush in the menu, then click where you want it on the terrain to place it.
Pretty basic.

if u want a palette to use some brushes, use this: http://www.staredit.net/index.php?download=2903

yeah its pretty good, but you REALLY need to make it blend much better and not just cover it up with sprites, but its still pretty good.

Good job, but next time, use the Bridge ends to turn the High dirt to dirt so you dont cover up the blockiness with sprites.
8/10 for first try

6.5/10

way to much sprites.

As a pretty experienced terrainer, (with two works in the Hall Of Fame), 11 or so sprites isn't "way too much sprites". This piece can be blended without the use of sprites, sure. but 11 is not alot of sprites.
