Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> Map Editor for Mac OS X
Report, edit, etc...Posted by cool_breeze on 2005-07-10 at 01:02:24
Hello,

Recently I purchased a Mac, and was happy to find out that SC plays on both Windows and Mac. SC was designed for OS 9, but with a patch I found on Apple.com/Blizzard.com it will run on OS X natively. However, the map editor that comes with the game will not run, and I was curious if anyone is aware of a patch that will enable it, or perhaps another program that will serve as an alternative. I've Googled my request to death, and can't seem to find anything. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
cool_breeze

Wow, thanks for the quick reply/help. It seems all of those apps require you to launch classic (OS 9). My cousin gave me his old Powermac G4, and before he gave it to me he updated it to OS 10.3, and I don't think it has classic even installed on it anywhere. sad.gif Guess I'll have to fire up the old PC when I feel the itch to make a map.
