One problem Da-darkfire, your brain contains a certain aspect of randomization, as some chemicle interactions within it are random. Thus, your brain might TEND to act in the way which it is "designed" (Evolved really), but the random chemicle interactions lead to slight randomization within the brain, thus, "free will"

I'd have to agree. I don't know anything about anything about biology, but if mathematics serves me right, then you should probably go check out Chaos theory. I believe that it's Chaos that creates the randomization within our minds.

Well, that isn't proof of randomness; it is instead a proof that something happened without a cause (random or free will).

How is that proof?

Well, as has been said before, if nothing exists, then logic and law aren't prevailant, so something could have spawned out of nothing.

It doesn't matter what laws existed.

The truth is, if something came literally from nothing, then it had no cause.

It doesn't make any sense for anything to come from nothing, because something from nothing has never really occured in large scales. (If you talk about quantum theory, this are always going from nothingness to somethingness and back agian.)
I for one do not believe in randomization. Everything follows rules, but those rules are more complex than a simple yes/no system. They comprise of every possible factor that has happened to every partical in an event. When you take into acount every variable in every peice of an event, you could precisely predict what would happen next.

People just don't understand people yet.

"Existance" for lack of a better word, has not existed forever. When it began, nothing was before it. Thus, it came from nothing.

The universe could not have existed for an infinite amount of time (or, if you are going to say, "time is an illusion", an infinite number of events could not have occured).

I didn't think that anyone still believes the universe has existed forever...

freewill isnt just a matter of theological discusion though. it's also of politcal consequence, if we believed that no one had free will then we would have no justification to punish anyone for their actions becuase they would not have control of them. So if we choose to believe that freewill does not exist then we also choose a course in whihc anaracy rules sense we can not justifiably enforce any rules. So instead we must assume that free will does exist so that instead of anarchy we can create society, becuase if freewill does exist then we justfy law enfrocement becuase we believe that people have control of their actions. As to if free will actually exist is pointless because for humanity to continue it must assume that it does exist.

I still do, how do we know that existence doesn't just repeat itself and has been doing so since an infinite amount of events.

Heisenberg's uncertainty principle only makes the idea of being able to determine the future through complete and absolute knowledge a useless one.
As I have said before, two or three times, not knowing something does not mean that it is not random.
All not knowing it means is that you don't know it. Random means that it can come out either way.
If you take someone that doesn't understand how StarCraft works or what it does, he can't tell you that a -1 Marine could own a 1000 Ghost, but that does not mean that it is random, it only means that that person does not know.

How many times will I have to state that randomness and ignorance are completely different matters before someone finally stops saying that they are or gives me an explanation as to how they are??

It's that whether or not this absolute chain of events exists or not means absolutely nothing to how we should run our country.

When I read your post the first time I wasn't thinking straight and didn't notice the "So instead we must assume that free will does exist so that instead of anarchy we can create society" part, which basicaly explains what I was thinking as well as it will be unless someone that does understand me comes along and explains it such that you can understand it.
