well this map is pretty deep... and as vivid descriptions and all that... supposidly was going to be a pretty good RPG
Map testers all said they loved it.. and sat to dl the map for an hour too >.<
however... i came to a halt in my map making. Many triggers were used in this one... such as moving npcs/ side quests/ even bound triggers were used.
but.. sadly.. halfway through i ran out of locations...
hopefully the people on this can help? is there a program that lets u place more then 255 locations? and i think i'm gonna run outta triggers too...

ouch. sorry to hear about your map.
you can't place more than 255 locations. youll have to start recycling them.
its pretty much not possible to run out of triggers. Maybe you just didnt do a very good job with your systems. Try to find better ways that use less locations.
Recycle locations by
a. gridding your bound locations (look at bolt_head's 1 location bound for more info)
b. using RPG systems that don't need a location for every shop
c. addopting more location conservitive triggering habbits
Give the map to me, or some other person, and we might recode a bunch of it (with gridding and such) to few up 20 or so locations for you.
Also, this should be in either map making assistance, or staredit related and free lacncers.

well u could always just have 1 location follow the hero and have the trigger for shops and stuff something like this

Isn't there a center location trigger? You could then have different placeholder units that you could center the locations on, to recycle the locations, I suppose.
sorta what i met have location center on player 1s hero then wehn the location/hero is brought too the king he will speak u can do this with most stuff really
use switches and death counters

just to make the locations be used more then 1 thing ya know
