A test map of mine in
another thread reveals that P9–P12 deaths cannot be set with triggers, even if they have start locations and are active players.
I do not know about whether the counter would increase if one of their units is killed. Perhaps I'll test it sometime.

Basicly, I need a counter that doesnt depend on Players 1-8 being in the game, whether they are or not...
