Hello all, after doing a simple trigger in one of my maps, it imediatly crashes at the start
of the map, i cannot attach the map here. but if you PM me, i can send you the map.
Things that i did before i saved it and it crashed:
1.) I added Bunkers in Base Mode from SCXE
2.) i changed a couple of triggers around
3.) i re-added Mineral Patches for each of the players
4.) i re-added supply depots for Players 1-5
5.) I re-added a Engineering bay for Player 1.

That would be my guess.
Q: Did you do all of this in SCXE-Base?
Check to make sure any of the added units were sprites, some sprites can crash SC such as sprite FBs.
Though some triggers can crash SC, like disabling/enabling some units.
FaRTy: I did them in Starcraft Xra Special Mode, and i only added one thing, which was centering locations on a unit
Shadow: No sprites in the map. The triggers dont even run wither, its an instant thing.
the mineral patch MUST belong to player 12. I bet its that.
Test the map by removing one thing everytime. When it doesn't crash, you know thats whats crashing it

No. Mineral patches (and vespene geysers) can belong to any player, but they will disappear from the map in melee mode (just like any other unit) if they don't belong to player 12.

Well can you tell me how players get a unit limit? As far as I know, there's only one for a map: 1650.
So is it possible to place any unit as p12 and it stays on map in melee mode?
I'm pretty sure no, but sprite units will stay.
Dk, 480 of the 560 units were owned by player 7, after giving all of the bunkers to Player 6, it worked just fine.
Well that's not the problem. I can place 1650 bunkers owned by one player on a map and have it work just fine.
Try giving them back to player 7 and see if it still works.
Also, what are player 7's player/race settings? Does it have a Start Location?
Are their any scv's or probes being produced or anything being built in the beginning of the game?
I had a very similar problem with a couple maps I've made, using Xtra-editor, when setting build times to zero (using a number like 8739). When I would try to build or make scv the game would crash.
All i can say is that it happends a lot.. You need to always Save an Extra copy. Somtimes some triggers are screwed up for you opened it in Sf and it screwes up. It weird. I think it is best to save an extra copy just in case. Also. I can't figure out your problem but i'm sure someone will help

yea, you can only set building times to 1 or else they crash...
only somethings crash SC on 0 build time.
i have never seen that? You mean it crashes when you make instant ups or buildings?
Shadow, don't bump old threads.
Upgrades with a build time of 0 don't crash. Building zerg and terran buildings, and building any unit will. I'm not sure about researching techs.
