I know that its been discussed, and I even read through the tutorials, but is there an easy way to convert kills to vespene in a mass killing situation.

1 Kill = 1 Vespene

Thats all I need. It needs to be accurate to, 5 kills will earn 5 vespene.

Aside from adding each vespee per kill (i.e. when a player kills exactly 1 unit, it adds 1 vespene, etc.) its impossible to get it dead-on when you take into account spalsh damage. Generally the kill score trigger works pretty well. When your kill score is at least 1, set it to 0 and add 1 vespene gas. Simple as that.

I have read it, what's your point? And he is asking for a simpler and less complicated way than that. The "perfect kills to cash" method is too complicated for this guy, I suppose.

Kills for cash is fine, but I wanted to have a score on the board. Wont that system maintain a score of zero?

And if I preserve a trigger that gives 1 vespene when killing "at least" 1 unit, its just gonna start racking up the vespene every second.

No, there's a difference between kills and kill score. The leaderboard displays the amount of kills you have, whereas the score is the amount of points you get per specific unit you kill.

That's why you set it to 0 for the kill score, as I stated earlier.

Well, if you want to add a vespene AND add a point to the scoreboard, you can simply add one vespene and one custom into the actions part of the trigger. You would then set the leaderboard to Custom scoring. I'm also looking for an easy trigger so I can't help you with the rest of it.

Really what was his Question? Was it that he wanted to know how to do it? Or was he looking for someone to teach him somthing else i don't get it. It seems to be solved but i want to know his question.

That's unnecessary, though, when you can just use the kills leaderboard. Again, kills and kill score are totally different.

Use any listed kills-to-cash method (there is no better way than those listed) and replace instances of "Minerals" with "Vespene Gas".

The current listed kills to cash methods are good, but I dont have the room to put little ling killing areas to count kills. I'll just make 20 kills give civ, 40 kills give civ........etc I'm suprised theres not just a simple way to convert Kills to Vespene or money directly

If you want single player trigger this is pretty good-

Well it works good in mass combat and stuff. try out this map and then save these triggers into your map. Only thing you must choose a unit so the trigger will work coretly! Check the tutorials for unit scores that are needed in this trigger.
