Turn off Shared Vision for yourself with an advanced editor that supports the Shared Vision AI Scripts. SCXE or anything more advanced would do. This way, the screen will be perfectly dark, allowing you to display a fancy text intro if you wish to do so.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by it being like a briefing... mainly to what depth you want it. If you want portraits and such, that is extra work, and is probably not worth the trouble.

If you want just a "Made by sexygrly86" appearing character-by-character, or just plainly, or in flashing colors, whatever suits you, just make a series of "Display Text" actions with reasonable waits between them. 1 millisecond is 0.001 second, keep that in mind.

just A tip when dealing with intros, using a display text u make a blank text in center like when u have a text fade in color thats how it works. waits will help but dont let them compile or you will hav big issues on 1 of my maps before i knew about waits i had wait 0 and it took like 7 minutes to start intro.

Trigger
Description:
your intro type trigger
Players:
¤ all players
Conditions:
¤ elapsed time (however long you want start to wait)
Actions:
¤ displaytext(*blue*Made by _____)
¤ display text( *large amount of spaces* )
¤ Display text( *gray* made by _____ )
¤ display text( *large amount of spaces* )

now inbetweeen the displays you will have your waits so the blue seems to fade into gray quickly and then clear biggrin.gif
this will hope fully make that flashy intro u want u can make big huge intros but thats just how it works. cool1.gif

oh dont forget to disable vision like UED said and some centerviews happy.gif
