Next time make the topic title more descriptive.

Make sure there is a location over the beacon in question. Then do this trigger:

Trigger
Description:
Invisible Beacon
Players:
¤ Player 1
Conditions:
¤ Always (This can be replaced by the condition of your choice)
Actions:
¤ Disable doodad state for <Type of Beacon you used> controlled by <Player that owns the beacon> at <Location name>
¤ Create 1 Protoss Observer at <Location where beacon is> for Player 1
¤ Wait 5 milliseconds
¤ Remove 1 Protoss Observer for Player 1 at <Location where beacon is>
¤ Comment: Invisible Beacon

Ok heres your tutorial, go to welcome (near bottom of forums) and introduce yourself. under mapping go to tutorials this will give you a list of many tricks and tips. if you need something very badly in a map but not in tutorials download a trigger viewer to see how a map does what it does, Welcome to SEN and just to save you some time, You disable the beacon and then have a detector view it and then not view it, its that simple happy.gif

(go to creative works to request an avatar or signature if you want one interested.gif)

Fo real. Also i see Icy is back. You should try looking through the tutorials once in awhile instead of posting it here. This question has been asked countless times. Something more Difficut or reasonable should be posted here. Well i'm glad you got your trigger sorted out.
