Alright, I was wondering like in Trigger Happy Def, a dark swarm system was made. See, I figured out it was just a simple bring command so I was wondering if i could rig some type of upgrade system for teh Dark swarm by using a building liek the evolution chamber. I would create a burrowed unit for every upgrade upgraded and then etiher use a bring command for the damage change.
ex: bring 1 darkswarm to location X
bring 1 burrowed to location y
modify cpu unit hp by 12%

so.. can it be done?

The only way to 'set' hp, except by percents (for which there's not trigger to tell how much a unit has), is by virtual HP. I prefer using players to represent each level of HP, but obviously that's limiting by the number of players there are available. Other ways including keeping a counter for each unit (wastes counters if there are lots of units, though), using burrowed stacked units under each unit to count HP (uses up a lot of units), or simply finding a way to physically damage the unit at the point of the swarm instead of setting to an immutable percentage amount.

If only there were a reliable way to read a unit's HP...

Well, if the enemies all had Virtual HP, this would work... but otherwise, like Tux said, there's no way to modify unit HP by amounts.

(Why the heck wouldn't Blizzard do that? It seems like a useful trigger to me blink.gif)
