Well, I have a few questions about this.

"Got a big project?"

Well, I am not really sure about how to go about it.

Do I just copy and paste my current thread into the news thread? (If it gets approved)
Also, if it's in production, do I submit a demo with it? Or, just say hey, I'm making this?

If you could possibly ellaborate more about the process I would be very happy.

The map should be finished. If it isn't, it has to be extremely impressive even at its current state.

You submit the link from the downloads database with your news post.

The news post is information about your map, thats it.

Just do this: Submit what you think might be newsworthy to the DLDB with something extra in the title, say <name> [news?]. I'll tell you if its good enough when I do the DLDB.
