I tried to send some minerals (well actually, a mineral) to someone today, and it didn't work (it told me I tried to send more than I had).
Is there some minimum amount of minerals you need to send, or has this feature been disabled?

Yes and no... I wanted to send my 666th mineral to a friend (inside joke). Now I'm not going to bother, but still I'm curious, is there a min limit, is it disabled, or has something gone horribly wrong, what?

I've sent a single mineral many different times, mabye this had to do with SEN being

Grr.....I sent myself all my minerals, and they just dissapeared, I got a message saying shatter has sent you 862 minerals, but not my minerals themselves.

Yeah, I think EVERYONE's done that by now. I don't even know WHY you would want to. If you think it through, the best possible outcome is only breaking even.

I was seeing if sending minerals worked at all, after my attempt to send negative minerals to someone failed. Oh well, looks like i gotta start over on the mins, not that it matters with v5 coming so soon apparently.

Thats got to suck...I never did that. I only send 1 or 2 minerals to random people or to.. Legacy! woo.

I already discovered negative minerals a long time ago, they fixed it because it would've been heavily abused.

There is no need to send yourself minerals.
Also there is no need to "test" the system to see if it works, it's been working fine for almost 11 months now.

I was "testing" it because voyager was saying that it wasn't working, oh well, its not like I care about my minerals all that much.

Why would you wan't to send your self all your mineral's... I think its because you thought you were going to double your mineral count.
I agree with Wesmic, It probally does have something to do with SEN's mystery downfall.

I wasn't trying to double them, I was just messing around in sen, looking for some bugs, inspired by tales of past buggyness.
