Metroid Devastator is a 1 player adventure where Samus goes to stop the space pirate base to destroy the newest project, Codenamed-Project Giga. In the Final Strike Series, you fight this Project Giga, but that isn't until episode 7. I have made this map one player because is has background music and is in a big format. But the highest it will be will most likely be 1 MB. I know how long it takes for even something 200KB to download over battle.net so I am making this map one player. I am really posting this early because the map is very early in development. If you have any ideas, please post them. But, before you post, let me tell you about the ideas i have.

-Many Upgrades
-Many Bosses
-Cinamatic Cutscenes(Starcraft Movie kinds XD)

Feel free to tell me any Ideas!

(This map will be in a 256 by 256 map size)

Thanks to Ezday for clearing this up.

254?
Why not just use 256, to avoid the numerous complications?

Anyways, Metroid maps should never be anymore than 1 player anyways, seeing as there's only one Samus.

Suggestions?
Only one I would have would be to use a "jumping" system to emulate the gameplay of the actual games, and possibly even a "shooting" system, but either you're already doing that, in which case suggesting it is pointless, or you're not but you've already got atleast enough thought out for this to require some radical changes to do.

Well, the reason i said it was one player, was because my Final Strike Series, you aren't Samus. You are Team Bravo. This metroid is 1 player because you are Samus, so that is another reason why it is one player. I thank you for the suggestions, as i never thought of a "shooting" system. XD. Well, if anybody else has ideas, or if you have more, please post them! smile.gif
