whenever i download a new map i try opening it up in different places, but it always says that, X number of units have been removed or replaced... blah blah... what is it's problem?

The editor does not support whatever the units/doodad/other things that have been removed. Example, some editors do not allow stack and if you open a map with stacked things in the original Starcraf Editor, it will removed the stacked units.

Stacking is placing more than one units (usually of the same kind) at the same coordinates. By extension, some people also refer to illegally placed units overlapping their boundaries, but not on the exact same spot.

Some people like stacking. Stacking buildings can save space, and stacking minerals can make more workers be able to mine a mineral patch.

Stacking is placing units on top of each other. Men cannot be stacked, only buildings and beacons. If you try to stack men you will get a "warning unit unplaceable at (x,y)" message

Get an editor that allows you to stack like Starforge, X-tra editor's special mode, SMCDraft. Look in the DLDB under Staredit Editors. http://www.staredit.net/index.php?dlcategory=12
