The Last Stand

Size: 64x64
Tileset: Badlands
Players: 5

You are a United Earth Directorate marine on the planet Meinharx IV. This wasteland planet, once full of simple farmers, is now a battleground for the very survival of humankind against the menacing Zerg.

You are stationed in Alpha Wing Base, the last UED outpost on this planet. The Fleet came to help you, and were inevitably destroyed by Scourges, Zerg suicide air forces. You and your fellow soldiers are the last hope for the last population center left on the planet: should you fail, seven thousand innocent civillians will meet a terrible fate.

Features:

- Teamwork: Work together or die.

- Microing: Can you and your four teammates, normal marines, defeat ten zerglings?

- Difficulty: Play it again and again until you beat it!

- Utter Simplicity: Unlike the more modern RPGs of Starcraft, this will be a pickup and play game. Fragfest to the max.

This map is currently is an alpha stage. Four people are needed to sign up for testing. Qualifications to sign up are:

- Patience and Perseverance: You keep on testing my updates even through crashes and fails.

- Multitasking: You must be able to type, listen, and play at the same time.

Sounds really hard sad.gif Make sure you can heal a lot though, cause all of your people will die at some point. And how many players will there be? 6? 5 humans 1 good comp and one bad? More people the better. And I would suggest making them all the same color, it will look cooler happy.gif

There will be NO healing. Whatsoever. Like I said, you better all be good microers and work together, or you die.

5 Marines vs. 10 Zerglings won't be that hard.

Attached is Team Micro Work 2, I'm assuming you're trying to get somewhat of its effect but only with Terrans.

Yeah, deal is though that that isnt it. In the actual map, it gets to the point where 12 zerglings come at your team from three directions, supported by three hydralisks. I'd like to see you micro THAT. And by the time you are at that point you will most likely have 10hp or less.

UPDATE:

I have two map layouts for candidates. I NEED testers. Sign up. Only testers will recieve the alpha and beta maps!

Anyways, the two maps I have. One takes up the who 64x64, the other takes up about two screens. The bigger one has a LOT less finesse, but hey, its big. The small one, I worked on it half the time and its twice as good.
