Is there a way through triggers to make two DTs merge into a Dark Archon? I've searched the tutorials and I looked through all the triggers, and I can't seem to figure it out.

No. The best you can do is if two dt's come close together and you, say, bring a civ to a beacon, remove the dt's and create a da.

or... u can make a localitation called Merge here is run a IA Script "Move DT's to region", Merge here then remove dt's make some effects (explosion etc..) and the archon happy.gif

How bout a way where an action of a player triggers the dt's to merge. Like medic's blinding units. If an enemy unit is close enough, and Hp is at a certain range, the medic will blind it. Same with defensive matrix. If you could somehow find out "why" computers merge the DT's you could recreate the scenario and make them merge.

Well I don't really care about making the dark archon, what I want is that little red ball of when the dark archon is forming. Is there a way to create that or substitute for it?

Those are set for computer as Auto Cast when atacked or sumthing like that and/or IA

ya there is one. create a dark archon look at Unit tipe box then make a sprite, uncheck the Draw as Sprite box and that would b all i think

Again, another thing that can be done with the "Extended trigger" or "Triggers of God" or whatever you want to call them. tongue.gif

You could change the IScript pointer for the Dark Archon, then create it, then change it back, and it shouldn't have a face or the things spinning around it.
