so... plz post what ur standards are in the pinned posts, i might help in future recruitments, also... i dont no if im allowed to post in here so plz dont flame me if i aint allowed normally
You don't got the skillz for Mp) yo!
If you want to be in a clan, PM your best map(s) to their leader, if they accept you, good job, if not, too bad.
No offense, but if you can't get into Oo, then you can't get into MP. Sorry Oo, if that offends you.
No offense taken. Our recruitment standards have gone to the crapper.
This guy has never tried out for Oo, to my knowledge. But I'm pretty sure he wouldn't get in even if he did tryout. If he only makes maps that are never released to the public, then we don't need him. I mean what's the point of making a map and not sharing it anyway?
In (U)'s forum, he says he'll start a new map to show them his skills. I'm pretty skeptical of these "skills" if he doesn't even have a map to show them right now, and instead has to make a new one. On and he said he'd make a new one when he gets a good idea - nice "skills" there as well.
Ironically, he also mentions how he will probably join Oo, yet he has only come to Mp) and (U) to talk about membership.
Oo has high standers than mp

. Well other than for solar. I have high standers.
If you think about it standards are getting lower. The best map-makers are either already in a clan, or aren't interested in joining any of them. What's left is what I call the "new" map-makers where their skill hasn't matched to "veterans" yet.
Mooney pm the map to me, I'll reply after I review the map.
true statement.
ive been searching for people on east and west and there are many good map makers that are already in a clan already.
most of the good map makers like to go solo. (i dont know why they like to be by there own self).
mainly this is how far we have in members.
hmm like some say All map makers were noobs once.

true but the thing is that i would have no problem recruiting someone with an average map as long as he map makes.. People make 1 good map and stop map making which pisses me off.
Most of the really good map makers ive known have retired from map making or they got bored of sc and moved on to some other hobby, like most of the members in MM-Guild (wich was a farley famous for Lotr and WW maps). I guess my point is alot of the "noob" maps today are becoming more popular then the ones that people spend months or years on, personaly i find that kinda sad, but i think the main thing about map making that alot of people forgot is if its fun to play again and again when they make it, i know alot of really fun maps and they weren't all that hard to put together and they were mostly newbs at map making. Alot of the good games people spend lots of time making it don't really get played as much cause the map maker puts alot of effort into the detail and special effects and forgets if people will play it over and over. I mean don't get me wrong the details and special effects can really change if its a good map or not, to make it wow or WOW to a person. But i think some people get all worked up if it has all this work put into it and be boring as hell and get in cause of what they made yet the public will probaly only play once or twice. and say this newb map (example: Don't Touch The Dot or something like that)won't get in because its a lame map but 1000 people play it. aslo u don't want some guy whos a

to everyone come into the clan so u gota also look at the persons personality not just the map, probaly most people know most of this but i felt like posting it anyway

. Now i'm not sure if this is the right spot to be posting all of this cause it probaly has nothing to do with this post, and i could be rambling on about the same thing over and over again lol but mabye this will change some stuff.
ADDITION:
i also agree on most of your post about recruiting too, and when i meant get "in" that would be getting into the clan

im trying to join a clan but I'm sorta a "veteran" because ever since I got starcraft years ago ive been making maps and its all I liked to do on sc, I just stopped playing for a year or 2 and now im a bit rusty.

dont bash the guy just beacause he has to go around pathetically bouncing from clan to clan trying desperately to get in...wait that is pretty sad
Its also pretty sad your flaming someone on a topic thats been dead for 4 days
