I wonder if its possible to detect the orientation of the units(the direction it is facing) with the EUD triggers.

Doubt it, but we can do it pretty well with triggers...

Hum... actually i was looking to change the orientation, not to detect it... but the 2 comes together if used with EUD triggers...

yea you can. there is a test map made by bolt head with unit directions. you just order it and then stop it in the direction u want it to face.

You move (teleport) it to unwalkable terrain or to its own location.
