After getting good feedback on my bnet test with some SENior SENers, I decided to post ZG3 up on SEN. ZG3 is much advanced over ZG2. Plus, Nobody liked my Last Stand idea.
Some new features include:
- Twitch-based gameplay. You have to aim at the enemy.
- Marines have longer range.
- Marines have stimpacks.
- The arena is bigger.
- More doodads in the arena.
- If you die, you dont lose until everyone dies, so you can spectate.
- Completely revamped enemy spawning system.
Some features to come:
- Making enemy green so they are hard to see.
- Adding new levels AND new arenas.
- Giving marines shields.
- The choice between using marines and ghosts.
- And possibly, revives.
As you can see, this is the biggest update to Zerg Games since its sequel, Terran Games.

Due to a severe lack of interest in ZG3, I am deciding to hold a contest for minerals.
Here goes:
You have until next Saturday to submit a screenshot AND replay of a ZG3 victory. Your team may only submit on screenshot and replay.
The person/team of SENners who finishes the fastest will get a prize of 150 minerals, second place, 75 minerals, and third place will recieve 37 minerals.
The screenshot MUST be a screenshot of the Units section after the game is won, and must be of JPG format. The replay MUST be a normal replay that you can save through the game.
To submit that crap, PM it to me.

Sorry bout the triple post but, new version! It utilizes EUD triggers, special thanks to Deathknight2004 for telling me about and helping me use Uber@tion (which, by the way, makes EUDs extremely simple for my thick head!).
Also, ZG3 has finally been beaten.... TWICE. However, noone could take the 150 minerals prize home because on Map Night, noone wanted to play.
Anyways, look out for ZG4, coming soon with five, new superhard levels and a new arena to fight in, with uber better terrain!
the map is unprotected so they could just rig it and get the screen shot...
And the replay? I would notice instantly on the replay? There IS a reason I asked for that, y'know. And, I leave all my maps unprotected because I believe that my maps should be out there for the community to use. Someone might find something good in one of my maps someday, and use it to improve their own.
A very good idea. Espically for an arena-type map.
I did play this, but I kinda didnt like it for the spawn after someone dies. Maybe if the spawn was a 20 hp 5 attack Broodling, then it might be acceptable.
Also, it would be cool to have like a break after every 5 levels to upgrade your units, maybe get stronger units.
Another thing: CROWDED!!!!
The Arena that you are in needs to have [some] space, but not enouf to make it too wide spread. maybe 1-2 iso squares larger?
Other than that, its a very nice game / game idea.

P.S. I think UrM0m is right. They dont need to make units, they can adjust the upgrades for a unit so it doesnt show up.
I'd still notice, I set the game up very carefully so that it takes a certain amount of hits for each unit to die.
But anyways, thanks for teh positive feedback. I'm going to add a new set of 5 levels.
Yeah its good, and pretty fun.
You should immplement more EUD stuff though.
And shouldn't this be in map showcase?
